With Generic Scan Tool

HOW TO DISPLAY AND READ DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (WITH SCAN TOOL)
Connect the scan tool to the data link connector (16-pin) at the lower right of the instrument under cover, and then read the diagnostic trouble codes.

CAUTION: Connection and disconnection of the scan tool should always be carried out with the ignition switch in the OFF position.
