PURPOSE
This bulletin updates information about the air conditioner receiver pressure switch in the 1994-95 Galant Service Manual, Volume 1 & 2.
New A/C receiver pressure switches (triple-pressure switch on 94 models and dual-pressure switch on 95 models) were developed to simplify parts supply and usage among various models. These new switches are installed on all Galants produced after April 18, 1994. The old and new style switches are interchangeable, however the new switches have a different operating high pressure range from the old style switches.
To reference this bulletin in the service manual, write the TSB Revision number in the TSB Revision box located at the bottom of each affected service manual page. The 1996 manuals contain the correct information.
