Crankshaft Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Crankshaft Position Sensor:

Waveforms:

1. Connect the special patterns pick-up of the analyzer to terminal # 2 of the sensor connector or terminal # 89 of the ECM connector.

2. Start engine, and let idle, observe the wave form.

Abnormal Waveforms:

3. Distance between peaks should become shorter as engine speed increases.
