EGR Control Solenoid Valve Location:

Purpose
ECM controls EGR operation through solenoid ground.

Operation
When solenoid is energized, electromagnetism closes the valve, closing the passage between the two ports.

When solenoid is de-energized, spring opens the valve, opening the passage between the two ports.
