NOTE: System contains 4 oxygen sensors, 2 on each side, located in the exhaust before and after the catalytic converters.

Oxygen Sensor Installation And Removal Tool:

Removal
1. Disconnect the harness terminal.
2. Remove the sensor with a suitable socket or wrench.

Oxygen Sensor:

Installation:
1. Apply a thin coating of anti-seize compound to the threads.

NOTE: Do Not contaminate the sensor tip with compound.

2. Install the sensor and torque to 33 ft lb (45 Nm).
3. Apply a thin coating of dielectric compound to the connector.
4. Connect harness terminal.
