1. Disconnect resistor connector, then use a suitable ohmmeter to measure resistance between terminals 1 and 3 and between terminals 2 and 4, Fig. 37.
2. If resistance is 0.45 ohm, resistor is satisfactory; if not, a new resistor should be installed.
