Intake Manifold: Service and Repair

1. Release fuel system pressure as outlined under Technician Safety Information.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Drain cooling system into an approved container.

4. Remove intake manifold in numbered sequence shown in Fig. 3, removing fuel delivery pipe leaving injectors and pressure regulator intact. Do not drop injector when removing delivery pipe.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
