Thermostat: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain coolant into an approved container.
3. Disconnect lower radiator hose from thermostat housing.
4. Remove thermostat housing.

5. Install thermostat with jiggle valve at top, Fig. 31.
6. Reverse procedure to install, bleeding coolant system after installation is complete.
