Throttle Control Cable

Fig. 5 Throttle Control Cable Adjustment:

1. Place throttle lever in curb idle position.
2. Raise throttle cable cover B upward, then loosen cable lower mounting bracket bolt, Fig. 5.
3. Move cable lower mounting bracket until clearance between nipple and top of cable cover A is 0.02-0.06 inch, then torque cable lower mounting bracket bolt to 9-10.5 ft. lbs.
4. With throttle lever in wide open position, pull throttle cable upward to ensure cable has freedom of movement.
