Starter Motor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove air cleaner assembly and intake manifold stay.
3. Remove starter cover.
4. Disconnect starter cables.
5. Remove starter mounting bolts, then the starter.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque starter mounting bolts to 22 ft. lbs.
