PURPOSE

This bulletin adds a new item to the engine troubleshooting chart for the 1993-97 Mirage equipped with the 1.5L engine. The additional information gives "worn or damaged valve guides" as another probable cause for engine compression that is too low. A diagnosis of worn or damaged valve guides would require replacement of the guides.

Write the TSB revision number of this bulletin in the "TSB Revision" box at the bottom of the affected service manual page.
