Ignition Monitoring Shunt: Testing and Inspection

Ignition Switch (M/T) Circuit:

1. With the ignition switch in the START position, measure the Voltage at ECM terminal 51--should be 8 Volts or more.
2. Verify ECM terminal 71 continuity to ground.
3. Verify ECM terminal 51 continuity to the ignition switch START circuit.
