Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair

- Remove the rear seat cushion.
- Disconnect the fuel pump and fuel gauge connectors.
- Start and run the engine until it stalls, then turn the ignition switch to OFF.
- Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
- Reconnect the fuel pump and fuel gauge connectors.
- Reinstall the rear seat cushion.
- High pressure fuel system hoses and components may now be serviced safely.
