Bearing Selection Sample Worksheet

This shows a sample crankshaft main bearing selection, using the worksheet shown.





1. Record the four crankshaft counter weight color marks that reference the journal outside diameter.





2. Record the Roman numerals that reference the bearing support inside diameter from the bottom/rear of the engine block.





3. Match the journal outside diameter color mark with the bearing support inside diameter number using the Bearing Selection chart (bottom) to select the proper bearing.
