1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove timing belt as outlined under TIMING BELT.
3. Remove timing belt rear cover.
4. Remove water pump mounting bolts and the water pump, Fig. 29.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting bolt length position shown in Fig. 30.
