Hydraulic Assembly: Service and Repair

On models equipped with airbag, disarm airbag as described under MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG SYSTEM DISARMING.

The hydraulic unit is not to be disassembled, subject to impact shocks, turned upside down or its bolts loosened.

Remove hydraulic relay and the hydraulic unit in numbered sequence as shown in Fig. 113, pushing the unit rearward so that it does not come in contact with the piping on the A/C receiver.
