Power Transistor And Ignition Coil Circuit:






Waveform Inspection With Scope

1. Disconnect the connector of the power transistor and test harness MB991348 to all of the terminals.

Scope Hook Up:






2. Connect the special patterns pickup of the scope to terminal #5 of the ignition power transistor connector.
3. If the test harness is not available, connect the scope special patterns pickup to ECM terminal #10, 11, and 23 for the ignition power transistors.
4. Sequentially connect the special patterns pickup of the scope to each terminal. Terminal #4 for cylinders 3 and 6, terminal #5 for cylinders 2 and 5, and terminal 6 for cylinders 1 and 4.
