Oxygen Sensor

Oxygen Sensor Location:

Oxygen sensor, located in the exhaust header pipe before the catalytic converter.

Oxygen Sensor Installation And Removal Tool:

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect the harness terminal.
2. Remove the sensor with a suitable socket or wrench.

Oxygen Sensor:

INSTALLATION:

1. Apply a thin coating of anti-seize compound to the threads.
NOTE: Do Not contaminate the sensor tip with compound.
2. Install the sensor and torque to 33 ft-lbs (45 Nm.).
3. Apply a thin coating of dielectric compound to the connector.
4. Connect harness terminal.
