With Scan Tool

1. Connect scan tool to data link connector (white).

2. Without starting the engine turn the ignition switch to the ON position, and check the TPS output voltage.

Acceptable Voltage
0.580 - 0.690 volts

3. If the voltage is out of specification, loosen the TPS mounting bolts, and rotate the TPS until the output is within specification.
4. Tighten TPS mounting bolt.

5. Turn OFF the ignition switch.

6. Clear codes and disconnect scan tool.
