1. Drain engine coolant into suitable container.
2. Remove power transistor and ignition coil assembly.
3. Remove timing belt as outlined under TIMING BELT.
4. Replace water pump in numbered sequence shown in Fig. 53, noting the following when installing:
a. Install water pump bolts in correct location as shown in Fig. 54.
b. Replace inlet water pipe O-ring at both ends and apply water to O-ring to help installation. Do not allow engine oil or other greases to adhere to O-ring.
