Clutch Disc: Service and Repair

1. Remove transaxle assembly, then remove clutch cover assembly by inserting a center spline alignment tool and loosening the clutch pressure plate bolts. The pressure plate bolts should all be loosened a few turns at a time.
2. Remove clutch disc, return clip, clutch release bearing, release fork, fulcrum, and release fork boot.
3. Inspect and replace any damaged or worn parts.
4. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Apply suitable bearing grease to fulcrum points, release fork, clutch disc splines and release bearing.
