Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview

1. After repairs are complete, reconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Turn ignition switch to On position and observe the SRS warning indicator.
3. If the SRS warning indicator is illuminated for about seven seconds then turns Off and remains Off for at least 45 seconds, the SRS system is functioning correctly.
4. If SRS indicator does not perform as described in step 3, refer DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING PROCEDURES/TESTING PROCEDURES/POST-COLLISION DIAGNOSIS.
