Wiper Operation Check

1. Connect battery to wiper motor as shown in Fig. 39. Ensure motor works at low speed.
2. Connect battery to wiper motor as shown in Fig. 40. Ensure motor works at high speed.
3. Operate wiper at low speed, disconnect lead from battery.
4. Connect battery as shown in Fig. 41. Ensure motor starts on low speed, then stops at automatic stop position.

1. Remove column cover and knee protector.
2. Disconnect switch connector, ensure continuity between terminals as shown in Fig. 57.
