Dieseling, Run On

DEFINITION:

Engine continues to run after key is turned "OFF", but runs very roughly. If engine runs smoothly, check ignition switch and adjustment.

- Excessive engine temperature. Refer to ENGINE MECHANICAL.
- Fuel injector leak.
- Incorrect ignition timing.
- Incorrect idle speed.
