Precautions for Operation
(1) When battery voltage is low, no detection of failure is possible. Be sure to check the battery for voltage and other conditions before starting the test.
(2) Diagnosis item is erased if the battery or the engine control unit connector is disconnected. Do not disconnect the battery before the diagnosis result is completely read.

Using Multi-Use Tester
(1) Switch off the ignition switch.







(2) Connect the power source terminal of the multi-use tester to the cigarette lighter socket.
(3) Connect the multi-use tester to the diagnosis connector.
(4) Turn on the ignition switch.
(5) Read the self-diagnosis output from the multi-use tester and record it.
(6) Referring to the diagnosis chart, repair the faulty part.
(7) Erase the malfunction code.
