CLEAR MEMORY OF MALFUNCTION CODE

When Using Multi-Use Tester







Connect the meter to the diagnosis connector and erase the codes by the following procedures.
(1) Select 4. "SPECIAL TEST" from the function selection menu of the multi-use tester.
(2) Then select Item No. 5 "ERASE DIAC.".
(3) Press the YES key when "ERASE DIAC. CODE?" is displayed.
(4) Enter ID code "19".
(5) Press the CLEAR key when "FINISHED ERASING DIAC. CODE" is displayed.
(6) Read the self-diagnosis output and check output of correct code.


When Not Using Multi-Use Tester
(1) Disconnect the ground cable from the battery terminal for more than 10 seconds and connect it again.
(2) Read the self-diagnosis output and check output of correct code.
