PURPOSE
An error occured in the printing of some copies of the 1989 Galant Service Manual. The wiring diagram for the rear window defogger found on page 8-320 of Volume 2 was printed upside down on the page. If the wiring diagram in your Service Manual is printed correctly as shown below, no reference to this bulletin is necessary. If, however, the wiring diagram in your Service Manual is inverted, please write "TSB-89-08-002" in the TSB Revision box at the bottom of page 8-320 in Volume 2 of the 1989 Galant Service Manual.

Although the wiring diagram may be printed upside down on the page, it is otherwise correct. Below are examples of correct wiring diagrams and those printed in error. To read a diagram that has been printed upside down, simply invert the manual.
