PURPOSE

A new brake modulator repair kit (P/N MB587018) is available to reduce potential brake fluid leakage into the brake modulator assembly. One of the first symptoms of fluid leakage is a low fluid level in the master cylinder and the brake warning light on the instrument panel comes on. If fluid leakage into the modulator is evident, the new repair kit should be installed using the procedures shown on pages 5-61 through 5-65 of the 1987 Starion Service Manual, Vol. 1.
