PURPOSE

This bulletin gives license plate retaining screw specifications for Galant and Mirage vehicles. If the proper size retaining screw is not used, the bracket grommet may break and/or the license plate screw may not tighten securely.

Thread Length - More than 14 mm (approx. 9/16 in.)
Overall Length - Less than 20 mm (approx. 3/4 in.)
Outside Thread Diameter - 5.5 - 6.2 mm (approx. 1/4 in.)
