MIXTURE CONTROL VALVE

1. Remove the air cleaner.
2. Warm up the engine.
3. Quickly open and close the throttle valve and observe that the MCV pops out once and quickly closes, Fig. 155 and is accompanied by air suction noise.
4. Verify that when the engine is idling the valve remains closed and there is no suction noise.
