SUBJECT: KM175 Mitsubishi

THROTTLE POSITION SWITCH ADJUSTMENT;

When adjusting throttle position sensor (TPS) on a KM175 to correct early or late shifts, turn TPS clockwise to make it shift later, and counterclockwise to make it shift earlier.

CAUTION
DO NOT ADJUST WITH ENGINE RUNNING

If you adjust it with the engine on, the engine will run very poorly; will be hard to start; or may not start at all.




Note:
The Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) is located on the driver's side of the throttle body. (See figure).
