The modification procedures described in this Technical Service Bulletin are covered under the normal Emission Control System Defect Warranty. Normal warranty claim submission procedures apply. Submit all Emission Control System Defect Warranty claims as claim type "W", menu option "E-2" on the Diamond network system.

Modification of existing installation (Modulator kits that have already been installed in vehicles as described in TSB-88-14-002).

Modification and new unit installation (modulators without white dot).

Time Allowance: 0.4 hr.

New installation of a pre-modified modulator kit (modulators with white dot.)
Labor code: 08457294
Time allowance: 0.3 hr.
NOTE: This is the same new installation labor code as was specified in TSB-88-14-002.
