EFE Relay: Description and Operation

At coolant temperatures below 158°F, the electronic control unit energizes the cold mixture heater relay to operate the the cold mixture heater, which is installed on the intake manifold. The fuel from the mixer is heater by the cold mixture heater before being routed to the combustion chamber.
