Submit as Recall Claim type "C", Menu option "E-5" on your Diamond Network System. Do NOT submit as "W" claims!

1.3 hr.

Note "0" in the above labor code is the number ZERO. A sample required work claim is shown. A sample required work claim and additional operations are shown. Each completed dealership's repair order must have an EMR-92-002 checklist attached. The checklist is contained in the EMR-92-002 emission kit and must be completed and signed by the servicing technician. District Service Managers may check for correctly completed and signed checklists attached to repair orders.


Additional Warranty Operations

These operations are performed ONLY if there is a need for them. Do not claim any "Additional Operations" if EMR-90-009 is performed.

a. The previous recall must have been completed. If not, do the repair procedures stated in EMR-90-009 using the labor operation codes and times shown in the EMR-90-009 bulletin.

b. If the exhaust manifold inspection reveals leakage, it must be replaced.

c. If the carburetor Choke Shim is missing, it must be installed.

d. If the Sub-EGR Valve does not operate smoothly, it must be cleaned.

e. If the ignition timing is not at the correct specification, it must be adjusted.

f. If the automatic transaxle's throttle control cable is out of adjustment, it must be adjusted.

g. If the intermediate wiring harness is missing, it must be installed.


Additional Operations Time Allowance:

R&R Exhaust Manifold:
0.4 hr.
Remove and Reinstall carburetor:
0.7 hr.
Choke Shim installation:
0.1 hr.
Sub-EGR Valve cleaning:
0.4 hr.
Ignition timing adjustment:
0.1 hr.
Throttle cable adjustment (automatic transaxles only):
0.1 hr.
Intermediate wiring harness installation:
0.3 hr.
