This connector contains a GREEN wire.

Before removing the new Jet Mixture Solenoid Valve from the plastic bag, READ THE CAUTION LABEL!

4. Insert the new Jet Mixture Solenoid into the carburetor and TIGHTEN IT BY HAND.

CAUTION:
If the solenoid valve seems to bind when threaded by hand into the carburetor, DO NOT FORCE IT INTO THE CARBURETOR. Loosen and then retighten the solenoid valve to work the burrs off the threads.

5. Again place the solenoid adapter wrench onto the torque wrench at a 90 degree angle.

Note:
If you place the solenoid adapter wrench in line with the torque wrench, the torque reading will be incorrect.

6. Using the INCH lb. torque wrench and the solenoid adapter wrench, torque the Jet Mixture Solenoid Valve to 22-30 INCH lbs.

CAUTION:
DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN THE JET MIXTURE SOLENOID VALVE. OVERTIGHTENING WILL DISTORT THE VALVE AND CAUSE AN OVER RICH CONDITION.
