Enrichment Solenoid Valve Reinstallation

1. Place the solenoid adapter wrench onto the INCH lb. torque wrench at a 90 degree angle.

Note:
If you place the adapter wrench in line with the torque wrench, the torque reading will be incorrect.

2. Insert the Enrichment Solenoid Valve into the carburetor and tighten it by hand.

CAUTION:
If the solenoid valve seems to bind when threaded by hand into the carburetor, DO NOT FORCE IT INTO THE CARBURETOR. Loosen and then retighten the valve to work the burrs off the threads.

3. Using the INCH lb. torque wrench and adapter wrench torque the Enrichment Solenoid Valve to 22-30 INCH lbs.

CAUTION:
Do not overtighten the Enrichment Solenoid Valve since this will distort the valve.
