Note:
Do not discard any remaining EMR-90-010 emission kit parts. Remaining parts could be used on other affected vehicles.


WARRANTY INFORMATION

Submit as Recall Claim type "C", Menu option "E-5" on your Diamond Network System. Do not submit as "W" claims.

Each completed dealership's repair order must have an EMR-92-011 checklist attached. The checklist is contained in the EMR-92-011 emission kit and must be completed and signed by the servicing technician. District Service Managers may check for correctly completed and signed checklists attached to repair orders.

ADDITIONAL WARRANTY OPERATIONS

These operations are performed ONLY if there is a need for them:

a. If the Choke Shim is missing or improperly installed, it must be installed.

b. If the Vacuum Control Valve and the Vacuum Hose Assembly are missing or improperly installed, they must be installed.

Additional Operations Time Allowances:

Choke Shim Installation: 0.1 hr.

Vacuum Control Valve and Vacuum Hose Assembly Installation: 0.3 hr.
