Radiator Cooling Fan Temperature Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

CORDIA, GALANT, MIRAGE, STARION W/INTERCOOLER & TREDIA

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Drain cooling system, then disconnect thermo sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove thermo sensor from radiator.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Apply suitable sealant to threaded portion of sensor.
b. Torque sensor to 7-14 ft. lbs. on all except Starion with intercooler or 10-12 ft. lbs. on Starion with intercooler.
