SUBJECT:

GALANT BODY REPAIR INFORMATION
NO. STB-86-23-001

DATE May, 1986

MODEL 1985, 1986 Galant
PURPOSE

Slight changes have been made in production to Galant body panels. These changes are illustrated in this bulletin to reassure the body repair technician that certain differences in the shapes of replacement components as compared with original parts are not the result of improper forming or incorrect parts but instead are production modifications. In some cases new panels must be re-shaped to fit the car body as shown in the illustrations.

Also in this bulletin is information showing new locations where sealant should be applied after replacing body parts.
