FIGURE 1:

PURPOSE This bulletin presents revised torque specifications for the water temperature switch in the thermostat housing on some models equipped with air conditioning. See Fig. 1.
CAUTION Excessive tightening torque will crack the thermostat housing!

TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS 10-14 N-m (7-10 ft.lbs)

NOTE:
After torquing the switch, be sure to re-connect the wire which serves as a ground for the A/C compressor. Without this ground, the compressor will not operate!
