Ventilation System - Cannot Be Regulated With Lever

MODEL Starion
Condition: Ventilation System Air Temperature cannot be regulated by changing the position of the Temperature Control Lever.
Diagnosis: Disconnected blend air door control rod.
Reconnect the control rod using the following procedure:
1. Move the Ventilation System Temperature Control Lever to the full "WARM" position.
2. Remove the two (2) right side console cover screws, then remove the side console cover.
3. Push the control rod in the direction shown then gently snap the control rod into the plastic clip.
CAUTION: Do not break the plastic clip. (MB 177438)
4. Reinstall the right side console cover and tighten the two (2) screws
NOTE: Refer to Starion Service Manual Section 24 for further Ventilation System Troubleshooting.
