MODEL 1983 Starion
Starion vehicles equipped with air conditioning are also equipped with an electric pusher fan in front of the air conditioner condenser to improve cooling efficiency.
The removal/installation procedures, and wiring diagram changes for this pusher fan were not included in Group 24 of the Starion Service Manual.
Removal/installation procedures and the changes to the wiring diagram are as follows:
Removal/Installation
1) Disconnect pusher fan harness at the connector.
2) Remove the three mounting bolts.
3) Remove the pusher fan upwards between the header panel and head lamp support.
4) To install, reverse this procedure.
Correction of Wiring Diagram:
Please refer to the Starion Service Manual, Group 24, Page 31, and place the following label over the wiring diagram in the manual.
