Evaporator Core: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the heater/evaporator core housing.







2. Separate the blower motor/evaporator housing.







3. Separate the heater/evaporator housing.
1 Remove the bolts.
2 Remove the rubber seal.
3 Remove the nut and the cover.
- Unclip the vacuum hose.
- Disconnect the housing parts.







4. Remove the evaporator.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Check the air conditioning system for normal operation.

NOTE:
- Install new O-rings and coat them with refrigerant oil.
- When installing a new evaporator, install the gaskets as they were on the old evaporator.
