Cabin Air Filter / Purifier: Service and Repair
REMOVAL1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
NOTE: Make sure that the wiper motor is in the park position.
2. Remove the wiper arms.
1. Lift up the plastic covers.
2. Loosen the nuts.
- Lift the wiper arms and release them from the taper by moving them to the side.
3. Open the hood.
4. Remove the cowl grille.
- Remove the screw covers.
- Remove the bolts.
- Remove the weatherseal.
- Disconnect the cowl grille at the rear and remove it.
5. Remove the pollen filter.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: When the battery has been disconnected and reconnected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while the vehicle relearns its adaptive strategy. The vehicle may need to be driven 16 km (10 miles) or more to relearn the strategy.
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
