Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.





2. Remove the instrument close-out panel pushpins and remove the panel.





3. Remove the stoplight switch retaining pin.





4. Slide the stoplight switch and booster push rod from the brake pedal pin.





5. Remove the brake pedal bracket retaining bolt.
6. Remove the speed control deactivator switch.





7. Remove the brake pedal bracket retaining nuts.
8. Remove the brake pedal and bracket.

Installation








1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
