Oil Separator: Service and Repair

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Remove the exhaust manifold.
2. Remove the Three Way Catalytic (TWC) converter.






3. Pull upward to remove the PCV valve from the crankcase vent oil separator.






4. Remove the three crankcase vent oil separator bolts.






5. Compress the spring clamp and pull the crankcase pressure relief hose and valve assembly off the crankcase vent oil separator, and position it out of the way.






6. Remove the crankcase vent oil separator bracket bolt and remove the crankcase vent oil separator.

NOTE: Use a new oil separator to cylinder block gasket when installing the crankcase vent oil separator.






7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
