High Pressure Safety Valve HVAC: Service and Repair

Removal
1. Discharge refrigerant from system. Observe all safety precautions.
2. Raise vehicle.
3. Remove A/C pressure relief valve deflector from A/C compressor pressure relief valve.

NOTE: It will be necessary to remove the air intake tube.

4. Remove A/C compressor pressure relief valve from A/C manifold and tube.

Installation
1. Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
2. Use new O-ring seal lubricated with clean Motorcraft YN-12b refrigerant oil or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSH-M1C231-B.
