Parking Brake Control: Adjustments
1. Make sure parking brake is released.2. Place transmission in neutral and raise the vehicle.
3. Tighten the adjusting nut against the cable equalizer to cause rear brakes to drag.
4. Loosen the adjusting nut until the rear wheels are fully released. There should be no drag. If brake cables are replaced in any system having a foot operated control assembly, stroke parking brake control with approximately 450 N (100 lbs) pedal effort, then release control and repeat this step.
