Wiper Motor: Service and Repair
FRONT1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove three retainers from shield, then remove plastic shield.
3. Remove locknut and washer from motor shaft.
4. Disconnect electrical connectors from wiper motor.
5. Remove four bolts and insulators attaching wiper to firewall, then remove wiper motor.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
REAR
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove wiper arm and blade assembly.
3. Remove nut, washers and packings from wiper motor shaft.
4. Remove trim panel from liftgate.
5. Disconnect electrical connector from wiper motor.
6. Remove bolts and insulators attaching wiper motor to tailgate.
7. Disconnect ground wire connection at tailgate, then remove wiper motor.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
