ATTACHMENT VI Page 25 of 25The following checks should be made to ensure that the car has been properly reassembled and that everything is functioning:
BEFORE STARTING VEHICLE
- Verify proper operation of power door locks on each of the four doors when operated from either the driver's or front seat passenger's door lock switch.
- Verify operation of power mirror switch on driver's door.
- Verify operation of power window switches on all four doors.
- Verify illumination of curb and warning lamps on all four doors.
- Verify operation of power window switches in console.
- Verify operation of cigar lighter in back of console.
- Verity operation of cigar lighter in front of console.
- Verify operation of rear window lock out switch on console.
- Verity open/close operation of ash receptacle in console.
- Verify shifter light operation
START VEHICLE AND CHECK THE FOLLOWING WHILE IDLING
- Verify operation of the radio, amplifier and ail speakers.
- Verify operation of the tachometer, temp gauge, fuel gauge, all cluster warning lights, and graphic display module.
- Verify operation of the EATC control.
DRIVE THE CAR A SHORT DISTANCE
- Verify operation of speedometer
STOP CAR - SHUT ENGINE OFF - OPEN HOOD
- Check for any coolant leaks.
- Check coolant level.
- If leaks are present or if coolant level is low, let the car cool and make appropriate repairs.
